This Friday, January 27th, Sacramento folk band Two Sheds will open an early show for Sands at Amnesia (6pm, $5-7). Two Sheds' most recent release was 20082s EP , but we're happy to share the group is in fact working on new material. "We're going to be playing new tunes," says the band of Friday's show. Jeff Austin of Yonder Mountain String Band has never hidden his love for HT faves Phish. Austin has been seeing the jam titans for decades and recently caught many shows on Phish's summer tour. The mando wiz even performed with drummer Jon Fishman (who has toured with YMSB in the past) in Lake Tahoe at the Bluegrass Ball following one of Phish's gigs in town.
