Here I go again wooed by a deliciously distinct and resonate vocal, this time provided by Swedish born Canadian Sarah MacDougall, but there's more to this ladies music than simply soundly 'great', the album is fine collection of original songs, music meditations dealing with the universal themes of love, loss, friendship, growing up and self-believe through which MacDougall bares a little of her soul to the listener, 'some people put their lives into a dream, I put my life inside a song' is the opening couplet of track one Sometimes You Lose, Sometimes You Win. Her brand of polished folk pop is perfect for Songs:Illinois, while her Nordic routes make her an ideal artist for Swedesplease. So this post will appear on both today.
