Two albums which mean the world to me have been re-released via the interweb for a limited time, and don't be afraid to call it destiny because they're appearing on vinyl! "Originally a private press CDR from 2001, The Autumn Kaleidoscope Got Changed was never properly released, and mainly just given out to friends. Some material made it onto the first real BMSR album, Falling Through A Field in 2003, but Autumn 's sound is more haunted and acoustic. Included on a specially etched record is EP, Sing To Us , an even less [...]

via meg clark Don't deny it, it's only the end of June and this summer has been so rad! The only thing radder is that there's still room left for it to be rad-fucking-tastic. We have proof if you take a peek over to "FMLY PRSNTS" on the left sidebar, fuh real. Anyways, it's time for one of a few summer mixtapes packed with jams we've been pumping non-stop whether it be at home, in the car, or on an assortment of other mixtapes. It's a long one, but like the measuring tape said to the [...]

Caught with bird droppings on his socks, Sony Dong was charged on Tuesday in California with smuggling exotic Asian songbirds from Vietnam by strapping them onto his legs. In December of 2008 Dong was flagged for abandoning 18 birds in a suitcase in LAX, this time around the inspected the 46 year old but luckily it didn't take a thorough enema to find what Dong was packing. Apparently these birds are worth about $400 each, but now they'll get to live the rest of their lives in the comfortable confinement of a zoo. Ironic, isn't it? [...]

I had started off really noisy and abstract with Allegheny White Fish . We were all so happy with ourselves for coming up with that name in 10th grade, but it wasn't too funny 4 years later. Then ssc [satanstompingcaterpillars] was like my way to be more melodic all the time, and a little more serious. Then when it started to shift again into something I might be a little more comfortable performing live, I brought in the rest of the band and we changed over again. It's an honor to present an interview with Tobacco covering the dichotomy between Tobacco and Black Moth Super Rainbow , as well as touching upon earlier works and hinting towards the future. As satanstompingcaterpillars , an introduction to lo-fi synth-pop was made and as Black Moth Super Rainbow grew from the ashes, several good men and women stronger, the music has not only gained in appreciators but taken on a unique form of production different from any other music being made today. Without spilling our collective hearts out and continuing with words which do no justice, [...]

Coming from Los Angeles the 'snow day' is nothing but a mythical being that I could only one day wish to experience. Well, March 2, I just want to wish you and the world a happy snow day! Classes here in New York are cancelled leaving me with nothing to do but catch a few more z's and present a mini-mixtape of relevant tunes that I really enjoy. A special track in here is from one of FMLY's closest FRNDS, Timothy Rabbit , who you may know at the bassist of The Morning Benders . We've known Tim [...]
