Dance wonderkids Mausi stopped by Radio 1 to share their love of the Knowles sisters with a pitch perfect rendition of “Losing You”/Saying My Name”. An underlying groove is applied to each, making this truly spectacular in every single way.

I believe a "holy shit" is in order. ATG Records alums Mausi stopped by Radio1 to debut some new songs along with a hybrid cover of Solange's "Losing You" and Destiny Child's "Say My Name." Stream their ode to the Knowles family below. STREAM: Mausi - "Losing You / Say My Name (Solange x Destiny's Child Cover)"
Sunday Morning Medicine is a feature from Dancing Astronaut dedicated to the mellower side of electronic music. We bring you our favorite therapeutic selections — old and new — in an attempt to alleviate the agonizing effects of a long weekend of partying. After taking on Classic Rock remixes for last week's edition of Sunday Morning Meds, we've decided on another genre-themed offering. This time we're venturing into the world of hip-hop and R&B where collisions with dance music have often proved dramatic. [...]

Kicking it with XXYYXX , Mister Lies , and Pink Noise Ordinance this weekend was more than just an honor; it was downright amazing. These guys are at the very front of the underground future scene, spearheading the free-hand sampling game with their strange sounds and wonky song structure. When you get to see such talent up close and personal, it really inspires you. It shows you that going with what sounds good to YOU is what really matters. Don't be afraid to just toss around a bell, slap a vocoder on a bongo, or reverb [...]
We all got love for Beyonce right? RIGHT! Well, Drake has too apparently, and to prove it he's unleashed new track, 'Girls Love Beyonce', onto the web with the help of James Fauntleroy, with whom he sings the chorus of Desinty's Child's 'Say My Name' in this number. The track itself is what we've come to know and love Drake for: a spacey slow-jam wrapped around an uneasy beat and reflective vocals. Perfect after dark vibes. Best of all, the thing is available to download too.

Yes, Drake did take it there. So if "Girls Love Beyonce", do dudes loves Drake? We do (but don't ask to speculate any further). So did Drake do here? The owl man takes DC's "Say My Name" and in the style of 2013 slows it down, smooths it out, spooks it out (with an assist from Cocaine 802s collaborator James Fauntleroy) and scores an engaging and heartened viber that only gets realer on the third, fourth, etc listens. Drake – Girls Love Beyonce (ft. James Fauntleroy) [...]

If there is one thing that Justin Timberlake and Destiny's Child are lacking at the moment, it's column inches. I mean, yes some of the more underground blogs have picked up on the recent news, but it's not as if the world nearly broke when both artists announced new music and shows. Californian noir-poppers The Neighbourhood have obviously spotted this and in a beautifully compassionate move have lent their considerable media bulk to proceedings. This is a slow, dark medley, seamlessly blending both Beyonce's girls and JT's swagger. Download below.
Amazing cover of Destiny’s Child’s “Say My Name” and Justin Timberlake’s “Cry Me a River” by LA-based The Neighbourhood. These guys can’t miss it seems. This is great.

The Neighbourhood just hooked us up with an awesome new cover/mashup/remix to kick back and unwind to. We have heard nothing but quality from them in the past, including their hit track Sweater Weather. They have made a name for themselves in a short amount of time. One issue many upcoming artists have is they box themselves into a single genre or even a single sound. The Neighbourhood went outside of their realm this time and covered both Destiny's Child's Say My Name and our boy JT's Cry [...]
Didn't see this one coming. The Neighbourhood felt the urge to mess around in the studio and put together a little blend of two of the biggest pop songs of the past decade. Cue their cover of Destiny Child's "Say My Name" and Justin Timberlake's "Cry Me A River." I'm ... Read More

Right.. its official folks... Deletah have just killed-it here, with their inclusion of a smack-bang-up-to-date Breaking Bad audio sample taken from the current fifth season that’s currently being televised on U.S. networks. Coming straight out of Deletahs’ Music red hot oven, ‘Say My Name’ says it all... Go Walter! Forthcoming on High Intensity Recordings.

Back in the day when we were still wearing combat trousers and crop tops, watching Richard Blackwood on MTV and before we discovered techno some of us kittens were pretty big Destiny's Child fans so not only is this Cyril Hahn remix amazing and totally addictive it also brings back a warm feeling of nostalgia. It's totally genius and we love it. We can totally imagine Will Saul dropping this one on the dancefloor. Can I get a replay!

So good. Chilean DJ Daniel Klauser respins Brandy's "Never Say Never" into a beautifully hewn brocade (yeah we just said brocade.) of interlocking beats and vocal chop-ups. We are in love. Thanks XLR8R . Daniel Klauser ( Facebook ) Rating 8.8

As fellow blog members know, it's now a rare feat that I post a relatively new track without it being a new release. If you're a diehard EO reader (the thousands upon thousands) you probably also know this, but I digress. This post is all about giving recognition to a little known DJ out of Switzerland who, if he continues to make bombs like this, can expect to experience some big time success. The 2000 hit single ' Say My Name ' helped Destiny's Child and the image that is Beyoncé become what it is [...]
Takes me directly back to the glory days of TRL right here. Just so we're on the same page, anybody who says they weren't into this original track cannot be trusted by the human race. Fast-forward THIRTEEN years to today, and a dude out of Vancouver named Cyril Hahn was struck with some bizarre creative juices that demanded a spacey Destiny's Child remix. All praise the creativity gods for this one. Download: Destiny's Child - Say My Name (Cyril Hahn Remix) Tweet
