Koreless has teamed up with Sampha , known for contributing vocals to SBTRKT 's live shows, to form Short Stories. Combining their love of minimal garage and cut-up vocals, the newly formed duo provide something quite unexpected. Short Stories sees both artists branch out into something new: a joyous, upbeat slab of 2-step-meets-techno. Of course, both artists leave their mark on new 123: Koreless unleashes a skittish flurry of frenetic samples and cut-up vocals, while Sampha carefully crafts warm synths and bass into something that is equal parts club and headphone-oriented.
