Since its creation a few months back, Childish Major's instrumental for U.O.E.N.O. has exploded within the rap community. It's first form starred Rocko, Rick Ross, and Future which of course gained tons of controversy with Rozay's reference to the date rape drug and its associated activities. The track then trickled its way into the studio of Wiz Khalifa whose rapid fire rhymes added an aspect to the song not heard on the original. Now, with great pleasure, I present to you the best version yet with the Black Hippy U.O.E.N.O. Remix featuring [...]

Top Dawg's remix of one of the hottest singles on the streets right now. You don't even know it. The post Black Hippy - U.O.E.N.O. Remix [Music] appeared first on Your Strongest Ally .

It appears by year's end, Kendrick Lamar will have collaborated with just about everybody. A little over a week after teaming up with Solange on "Looks Good With Trouble" , the next stop on Lamar's wildly unpredictable 2013 Tour Through Everybody Else's Songs finds him sharing a cut with Danish blue-eyed soul act Quadron , folding in quite comfortably within the soft and sensual R&B seduction of the act's newest offering "Better Off". Despite the track's simmering, jazz-baked groove (love the muted horns!!) lending "Better Off" a late-night romantic air though, the [...]
" U.O.E.N.O. ," the recent single from the Atlanta rapper Rocko, earned itself a ton of unwanted notoriety in recent months: It's the song where Rick Ross bragged about date rape. So consider this a reclamation. All four members of L.A.'s furiously exciting Black Hippy supergroup - Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, Ab-Soul, and Jay Rock - have teamed up for a spazzed-out, fired-up remix of the track. Download it below. Read More... [...]
Confirming rumors started by Rocko in March, Kendrick Lamar jumps onto "U.O.E.N.O.," the glorious track that helped sink Rick Ross' Reebok contract and has now outlived it. Schoolboy Q, Ab-Soul and Jay Rock add verses ... read more

Black Hippy just killed this track and U.O.E.N.O. it!

Sometimes, there's a boatload of controversy surrounding a track, making you seriously consider even listening to a track. Fucking morals. Lucky for us, the Black Hippy crew took hold of the immaculate "U.O.E.N.O." instrumental, turning it into THEIR track. These guys stay winning, and they even have us cracking up; check out ScHoolboy Q's "Molly [...]

After Rick Ross caused quite the controversy with his "U.O.E.N.O." , the Black Hippy squad decided it would be a good track to help promote their upcoming tour. With a small introductory video featuring Mac Miller, the crew quickly jump into this slick production. While we didn't care much for the Ross original, it is fair to say all members of T.D.E. do a fine job of holding their own on the Black Hippy remix. Give the remix a spin below. Tour dates can be found in the video.

Top Dawg must be made up of some really smart cats. Even though Kendrick was maybe supposed to be on Rocko's "U.O.E.N.O," things must have changed. TDE shotcallers probably saw the same thing we did, which was a runaway hit turning into a one-car crash into the median and figured bowing out would be a better bet. Instead of letting K.Dot's verse go unheard, the whole Black Hippy squad joined in and thus we get to hear what we wanted, without suffering through Rocko. Watch the good kid, M.A.A.D. City [...]

So it's not a music video, but you do get treated to Mac Miller and Schoolboy Q do their best impressions of each other before you get to the music. "U.O.E.N.O." gets its millionth remix, but this one is by artists you actually want to hear. It's summertime, California artists over everybody.
Last week, we posted A$AP Ferg's unhinged all-star remix to the 2012 underground hit " Work ." And now we get the video, in which Ferg and associates French Montana, Trinidad James, Schoolboy Q, and A$AP Rocky take over Harlem's Rucker Park playground and a soundstage that's been made up to look like an abandoned warehouse. It's a super-fun throwback to the rap videos of the mid-'90s, with the notable difference that everyone involved is wearing amazing, ridiculous clothes. Shout out to the guy with the pigtails. Watch it below. Read More...

Ask Slava P about hockey right now and you will get cross-checked. One day, in the not too distant future, we'll look back on the A$AP Mob with fond memory. As your read this, there are no doubt children in high-school who are digesting every song in A$AP Rocky's catalog, pouring over each lyric and quote with the same youthful vigor as the previous generation did to Curtis Jackson and G-Unit, Cam'ron and Dipset, and the generation before to Wu-Tang. Whether we like it or not, millennials have placed the generational pin in A$AP [...]
