Scoe teams up with Mr. Lamar on the lead single from his up coming mixtape The Influence .

Deen gives a first consultation free, but after that, it'll cost you. You probably don't care about my writing process, but allow my to bloviate a bit in the interest of providing context. More often than not, there's ONE very specific fact or point of interest that inspires me to write about a song or project. For instance, my inaugural post (of was inspired by my rapidly dissipating hatred of 2Chainz's existence, while my last post was the result of being surprised that I was listening to a Philadephia rapper that [...]

Scoe is putting the finishing touches on his new project, Tha Influence, and while he does, he decided to leak the lead-single from it, an ode to Dr. Dre, thanking him for all he has done for Hip-Hop. Joining Scoe in saluting Dre are none other then Kendrick Lamar and Jake One.

I love the West Coast shit, man. From Pac, N.W.A, Dr. Dre, and the revival of the West Side sound with Kendrick Lamar, Cali has always provided us with dope beats and hot blondes for years now. Put those two elements together and you have a very bitchin party. Make it more interesting and add some live animals to the mix and you have an even better time. Rapper Scoe featured Kendrick Lamar on his first single titled Thank You for his upcoming album "Tha Influence". With production from Jake One, both Scoe and Kendrick reminisce [...]
We previously heard from Scoe, who is Kurupt's younger brother, when he dropped a smooth-as-silk cut in the Hi-Tek-produced " End of Summer ". And now, the kid is back with another impressive track, "Thank You", which leaves us craving the entirety of his Tha Influence project. While it's not clear when that'll drop, we're OK with leaving the Kendrick Lamar -featured, Jake One -produced "Thank You" on repeat. Yes, you read that correctly: the beat's by Jake One and K-Dot's spitting on it. You're welcome (no pun). [ via ]

I don't know much about Roscoe, but I believe he is somehow affiliated with The Dogg Pound. With that said, the dude has a ton of connections at his disposal. Exhibit A: a Hi-Tek produced track off his forthcoming project, Tha Influence . The album will also sport features and production from the likes of Jake One, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, Xzibit, Just Blaze, Devin The Dude, and more. It is hard to sleep on that roster, but we all know how easy it is to drop the ball with such a star-studded cast. "End Of Summer" proves his [...]

Kurupt's younger brother Scoe (formerly Roscoe) is prepping for his new project, Tha Influence. To hold over till the release, he leaks a couple of tracks "Lay Low" featuring Glasses Malone & Kobe (prod by DJ Khalil) and "Hear No Evil See No Evil" (prod by Jake One).
About seven years ago, Roscoe was high on my priority list. Known to most as simply the younger brother of Kurupt, I found albums like Phillafornia and I Luv Cali [...]
