DJ Redz takes this track to a new level. The lead in teasers work great with the track and the B'more drums makes this track a floor filler. Grab it and check out the rest of his work. O yea Sean, you are soooo hard. Sean Kingston - Take You There (DJ Redz Remix)

That J.J. Abrams's "not-'Lost'" NYC Armageddon melodramatic monster movie was equal parts really crappy and really sublime is testament to a number of things. Firstly, any movie that has more than six months worth of pseudo-marketed backstory (from fans wondering what is "in game" and what is not to the ridiculously savvy use of those same fans' ideas to work against them) has to say something about the changing landscape of word-of-mouth. It's no longer keeping people content to make smalltime water-cooler conversations with others. In its stead, people are now tirelessly excavating the depths [...]
After months of viral marketing and a record-setting weekend box office, Cloverfield audiences finally got to see what was capable of decapitating the Statue of Liberty and ruining a hipster loft party all in one evening. Although the camera footage retrieved from the area formerly known as "Central Park" may ...
If I was an artist looking to score a hit on the Top 40, right now, I'd be very very very scared of one Sean Kingston . The kid is still teenager, has one of the hardest-hitting debuts this year in his self-titled record, had his song "Beautiful Girls" (and it's various cover versions) on the dancefloors everywhere in the world since the summertime and has been under the umbrella of producer JR Rotem (you know, the dude who supposedly helped Britney get preggers with child numero tres ). The kid [...]
The Weakerthans once sang "Late afternoon another day is nearly done. A darker gray is breaking through a lighter one." And that's what's happening outside of my humble abode as I sit here to put some songs on the internet for you all to enjoy. But there's a problem, I don't really like these songs. If the songs used on Gossip Girl were one tenth as clever and deep as anything by The Weakerthans I wouldn't struggle with the idea of putting them on my blog. But they're not. They're usually fairly run-of-the-mill vanilla hip hop or bad pop music. [...]

The Sharp's Let me start this off by saying that I hate the original song, but every time I've played out recently, a lot of people have requested it. So, I made a few edits, added some drums, increased the tempo, put in a few gunshots, and now at least I have a playable version... Hope some people can use it. Sean Kingston-Beautiful Girls (Burntpiano Remix)
[MP3]: Justice - Phantom Pt. II (Soulwax Nite Version) [MP3]: Calvin Harris "Acceptable in the 80s" (His album I Created Disco is great. Go to David B's afterparty if you can't make it into the show tonight at Mercury Lounge.) [MP3]: Bob Dylan "Hurricane" (This scene gets me Hype!!! [...]
I commonly used to find all kinds of enjoyable new music via the Hype Machine , and the numerous music blogs that populate the interwebs. I'd head over to the Hype, click listen on the first track that appeared, and let it stream. I'm not really finding lots of new music I enjoy via these methods anymore. It seems as though I have heard it all before. I know that's not true, I haven't heard it all before. But it's clear that a lot of blogs are covering a lot of the same [...]
Laaaad-a-mer-see. Every so often I find myself watching Much Music and a song comes on that is so "return of the mack" over the top pop walking that thin line, yet somehow manages to hold on to be pure pop awesome-ness. Sampleing Ben E King's "Stand by Me" I believe this is the first sock hop / reggae track I have ever heard. Check his myspace ere' The video aint all bad either, he looks like a 12 year old baby notorious .b.i.g. Sean Kingston - Beautiful Girls [...]
Dolores O'Riordan "Ordinary Day" dir. by Caswell Coggins In Nicolas Roeg's 1973 film, Don't Look Now , the typically romantic setting of Venice is turned into a chilling environment for supernatural events. A relatively young married couple takes a vacation to Italy after recently losing their only child in a freak drowning accident. Yet once they arrive a series of strange occurrences begin, culminating in the ghostly appearance of their young girl (running through the vacant streets in a creepy red hood). Director Caswell Coggins sets this spooky video [...]
