Here's a little sample of SebastiAn's remix of Nero's "Must Be The Feeling," the fifth single from last year's Welcome Reality . The double a-side is out March 5th on MTA Records with more mixes from Azari & III, Kill the Noise, Brooks Brothers, as well as the track "Innocence." The South Central remix didn't make the release, but you can get it here .
NERO has announced 'Must Be The Feeling' as the last single off 'Welcome Reality' and it is due out March 4th on MTA Records . Their killer line-up of remixes include Flux Pavilion & NERO, SebastiAn , Azari & III , Kill The Noise , and Brookes Brothers . All of NERO's music videos from singles off their debut album 'Welcome Reality' have had this futuristic 802s theme to them and surprisingly everyone's still loving it. 'Must Be The Feeling' is no different; the video starts out with Joe and [...]
Suicide Sundaes - Stop your grinnin' and drop your linen. This Sunday, Greg is here again to bring you the weeks dirty servings, and some old favorites through a throwdown-throwback to simpler times. A time when bangers were big, remixes were bigger, the bassline bled, and we didn't care about anything as long as came in kicking and left screaming. From The Editor: This might be your first time seeing a "Suicide Sundae" or maybe you've been following it for years [...]
Thinking I had some homework to do before 5PM today I wandered into the library only to figure out it's not due until sunday. But since I'm here I've decided to shell out a couple of jams I've gathered this week as well as the highly anticipated mixtape from Mad Decent featuring Diplo, FKi, Heroes x [...]
This April nearly 80,000 people will land near Indio, California once again for a sold out Coachella. To get you prepared and pumped we've made this playlist.

Just imagine: All the way down the " Pacific Coast Highway " in your Ferrari Testarossa, wearing a pink shirt and Ray Ban's " Wayfarer " and listening to Pia Zadora's " When the rain begins to fall " on the radio...then you know how Sonny Crockett must have felt cruising through Miami in the 802s. Now back into the future! There is one man that is reviving the 802s-manner with funky discohousebass plus retro visuals and will head to Gretchen Berlin on saturday the 21st of January via time leap. Kavinsky , the [...]
Yea bitch yea bitch. Word is MGK is actually dropping this mashup in his live sets now. Backup Download

The past 365 days were massive! It's already 2012 and that's our final chart for the previous year. Nite Versions already compiled the best songs and videos for 2011. Now it's time for the coolest part - the list of greatest albums for 2011. It's a very hard task to pick 16 albums you've liked the most - there are so many good releases and I wish I could put all of them on that list. Find out which are the finest 16 of 2011 in Nite Versions' opinion. [...]
Electronic music is designed for use by DJ's. For this reason, electronic releases tend to be singles rather than full albums: for better or for worse. Full cohesive electronic albums are rare and special things. The format of an album supports so much more artistry and creative capacity than singles and EP's ever will. Yet electronic genres like House and Techno are so dominated by singles and EP's. I see a trend emerging; songs which have real lasting power come from brilliant full-length releases. For me, albums like Justice's Cross , Digitalism's Idealism and Daft Punk's [...]
Whether your with Dunbar on music and dance evolving as mass social grooming, Darwin and his strutting peacock, or feel dancing and music is tickling the brain in ways nature cannot, dancing is a part of our humanity and has been for a very long time. 2011 was a good time for music you could dance too... Lindstrøm : De Javu When you play a Lindstrom track in your dj set its always difficult to follow. It's normally difficult to know what to play it after too becuase, lets face it, no [...]

So, it's that time of year. 2011 has seen many interesting developments in dance music. For starters, it now fills the charts, with Guetta's new album plastered all over the top 40, again... Skrillex now seems to be regarded as the best thing since sliced bread, with 5 grammy nominations. Justice have returned, eventually, their album having a different kind of look, some may call it prog. rock, nonetheless it's a very enjoyable listen. My tip for next year? Garage. This genre has seen somewhat of a comeback in 2011, with MJ Cole producing and remixing Wretch 32 [...]

A good video is not always a question of money. Nite Versions compiled its favorite music videos released in 2011. Some of them are here because they're visualized in a truly impressive way, and others are here because they just got a the right concept. Bravo to Woodkid (#1), whose real name is Yoann Lemoine . Not only is he performing 'Iron' but also directed the clip. Everything about it is genius. He's definitely one of the best directors for 2011. Thumbs up for Edouard Salier 's (#2) direction on Justice's 'Civilization'. [...]

Throughout 2011 we have been offering you lots of free music. Here is La.Ga.Sta.'s most downloaded tracks of the year. It's no surprise that Magician's remix of Lykke Li's "I Follow Rivers" is top of the list. A huge remix that you can still hear coming out loud from the car stereos. There are some great tunes in there as well, from Rapture, M83 and Washed Out to Mylo, Discodeine, and Poolside. Not to mention Villa's take on Adele's "Rolling In The Deep" - another exclusive track from La.Ga.Sta. This is yours Top 20 chart. Fill it up (one more [...]

Leave it up to me to notice that my top 10 list was actually a top 11 after I finished the write up. Either way, these are my favorite electronic music originals from the past year. Make sure you keep an eye out for the rest of our yearly round ups: best albums, best remixes and best mixes. What tracks do you think I missed? Comment on this post on facebook and let me know! 11. "Fantasy" – Breakbot Few can create modern-funk like Breakbot. His productions sound authentically retro, which many [...]

Just recently, Sebastian Love recently released their 5-track EP entitled Julie Star. It features some of that gritty and dirty electro that has become synoymous with his name and also features some amazing floor stompers. But now, DISCOFORGIA has come through with a remix of one of the better tracks off the album. The track is called "I, the Shadows" and the remixed version hits harder in all the right spots. The remix also filters the vocals to the point where it pretty much becomes an instrumental all to itself. Enjoy. [...]
