The "secret" gig will take place at the El Rey Theatre and will be followed by the bands headlining performance at Coachella on Sunday (April 19). According to a source that asked to not be identified, Deftones will be playing this year's Reading & Leeds Festivals. Apparently, the band will be using a stand-in for bassist Chi Cheng, who has been in a coma since being involved in a car crash late last year. Interesting.
