New Bob Mould track released, Prince's drops new albums online (sort of) & the Evening Rig interviewed
Seeland are a band of sonic death monkeys. Actually they're just two guys, but they sound like they could be sonic death monkeys. Their album Tomorrow Today is out now, and I have a tune from it for free download. The duo is made up of Tim Felton formerly of Broadcast and Billy Bainbridge from Plone. Seeland, the new collaboration from Warp recording artists Tim Felton (Broadcast) and Billy Bainbridge (Plone), is offering a free mp3 download of the track "Call the Incredible" from their new album, Tomorrow Today. Download: Seeland - Call the Incredible Share This:

Seeland is a collaboration between Warp recording artists Tim Felton from Broadcast and Billy Bainbridge from Plone. Their new album 'Tomorrow Today' is out now on L-O-A-F. Having previously recorded for Stereolab's Duophonic label the reference points are similar - BBC Radiophonic Workshop, Joe Meek and eccentric 60's library music - so fans of retro-futurism should walk away happy with a copy of this. 'Call the Incredible' is available to download here .

Tim Felton is a guitarist that once evolved with renouned UK psychedelic astro pospters Broadcast . He left the group after their second album Haha Sound in 2003! A few years later, rumours spread that he was working on a new project... As a huge Broadcast fan it is with great pleasure and anticipation I await the record from a band called Seeland. Here is the rest of the story from their Myspace : As well as being the home of Black Sabbath and the British Heavy Metal Scene, during [...]

New signing on the always brilliant and creative label Loaf recordings is the Birmingham band Seeland , whom I've been keeping my eyes and ears on for a while now. Seeland has a base in electronic music, but their songs does not sound purely electronic. Acoustic and organic elements are present all the way, with almost folky vocals and an overall spacey and partly psychedelic sound. The project has been around since 2004, and they feature two members from influential bands like Plone and Broadcast , [...]
