Shawn Smith is known by a lot of names. Sometimes he's a solo artist, but most of the time it seems he drifts from side project to side project. Occaisionaly he hooks up other notable Seattle musicians, occasionally he strikes out on his own. He lists a slew of influences for his style of music and I guess if you listen closely enough you'll find each and every one. I personally hear a lot of Joseph Arthur in his solo work.
