Obstinados con una curatoría meticulosa y con mucho trabajo detrás, el Festival Sónar São Paulo 2013 sigue sorprendiendo con el anuncio de nuevos artistas, que se suman a Pet Shop Boys, Explosions in The Sky, The Roots, Matmos, Theo Parrish, Jamie Lidell, entre otros. Algunas cosas que no existirían sin Adrian Sherwood y que me vienen rápidamente a la cabeza: Trip-Hop, Dubstep, los dub mixes o dub versions de miles de éxitos ochenteros y la Bass Music. Por no hablar del Dub Techno, o las infinitas fusiones de Rock con Dub. Por supuesto que el inglés no inventó la música dub, pero es uno de los principales responsables de esparcirla fuera de su tierra natal: Jamaica. Sherwood have announced a US headlining tour that will cover just about the entire country. The tour kicks off February 17th in LA and comes to an end March 27th in Minneapolis.
