(Photo by Laura Taylor ) Well this week wasn't the best ever for me, but things really looked up in terms of music. The next guest mix should be here very soon so look out for that. And also I hope everyone here in the states enjoys their 3 day weekend. I'll try to throw Mailbag Monday up tomorrow. If not I apologize for my laziness in advance. The Bloody Beetroots feat. Shinichi Osawa 's '08 release of EEAA has been remixed by the pimps of the kitchen pantry . Ironic! I was only shown this song a few days ago. And it gets sent by Mustard Pimps a few days later. Shinichi Osawa, I guess you could say is defying the trends of dance music in japan and joining forces with some of the worlds best to make bangers. I think this new Mustard Pimp remix may have fried my brain. Shinichi Osawa - EEAA (Mustard Pimp Remix).mp3 - Albert

As I mentioned previously, I've been crazily busy recently, so I haven't got time to do a great post. But these are some nice tracks that I've recently picked up. The first track comes from a mix which Jamie from The xx just did for colette. I hadn't picked up on Egypt 's In The Morning (Let Your Love Come In), until now, which is a good house track. Egypt-In The Morning (Let Your Love Come In) [...]
A lot of people have been waiting for this one. I already had my hands on the original track, but like many other people out there I think the Mustard Pimp remix is way better. Just like Metric from Sound Of Stereo I immediately get this big room sensation when listening too this one, sounds a bit weird but I hope you guys know what I'm talking about. Available for download on soundcloud for only 24hrs and already 700+ downloads, insane. By the way, read somewhere (can't recall where) that Shinichi Osawa and Paul Chambers will [...]

Shinichi Osawa - EEAA (Mustard Pimp Remix) ( Mediafire ) Highly Recommended Mustard Pimp Myspace

I've been waiting for the full version of this for so long. I don't know what the deal is...why Mustard Pimp is giving this away now...and I don't care. When in Miami at WMC, we heard this EVERYWHERE we went and I could not get my hands on it. In fact, we saw Mustard Pimp outside of the hotel grabbing a cab after they played the Dim Mak party at Bleu Fountain. I tried asking them about the track but didn't get anywhere. Now I have it and will be playing it out! And you can [...]

Raise the roof fo' yo weekend. Shinichi Osawa- Maximum Joy

If there is one thing that everybody who reads TMS knows it's that we think Shinichi Osawa is pretty amazing. We have done an obscene amount of posts on the dude. Despite being incredibly busy and working on his second album he found the time to do a quick interview with us. Still very much in shock that it happened and many thanks to Shinichi for taking the time! What led you to making music in the first place? I didn't have [...]

This is sooo rad. No release as they couldn't clear the sample.

We're baaaack! We've redesigned the site and we hope you guys dig it as much as we do. The new site marks the start of some big changes here at TNM. The school year is wrapping up, so eventually (sigh) we're going to have to head on home for the summertime. But fear not! The blog will live on, just via coverage from our hometowns of Philadelphia and New York City. You can expect to see Philly coverage popping up around mid-May, with NYC to follow in June. We will of course be returning to Montreal in August, [...]
Hope all of your weekends were swell. I blacked out pretty hard Saturday night and Sunday morning was totally NOT Vacay. Luckily I had a mailbox full of vitamins to cure my ails. Lots of good ones this week, so I hope you have some time on your hands. Vitamin #1: In June a new group by the name of King Fantastic is dropping their debut album entitled Finger Snaps and Gun Claps. We got a little taste of that action this week and I'm liking it. I'm excited to have a new rap [...]

Heya. So. Friday was quite something. I'm pleased to say that everything went off without a hitch, everyone played great sets, and I think it's safe to say that everyone had a great time. As it turns out, Steve Aoki is a pretty nice guy. I would also say, surprisingly... unassuming . Or at least, that was my experience. But holy shit , when he gets up on stage, and grabs that mic, and starts doing the scream-along to Warp - It's [...]
![The Young Punx – Mashpop & Punkstep [Review]](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/2430654_lg.jpg)
The second album by The Young Punx, 'Mashpop & Punkstep,' brings music to life. And this living, breathing being, capable of crossing boundaries and incapable of being confined to walls of any one box is music. And The Young Punx are the vision. "The only act that would open an album with a drum and bass, heavy metal, pop and Cuban track 'You, You, You' and make it enjoyable and accessible." - ( read more + FULL album ) But...before we continue further on this pattern of splicing genres, let me just give way [...]
