Shotgun Crackers is back with new music. They released their debut album in Spring and now they follow this with the three-track EP, "Lockdown PT. 13. It seems like they're planning a series of EP:s in the time to come, instead of heading directly for a new full length album. You can listen to the EP on Spotify and on their Bandcamp page . And you can find them on Facebook . Here's the first song "Sinister": Sinister

Shotgun Crackers is probably the closest we have ever come to having a house band here on Meadowmusic. They even released an EP on the blog a while ago. Now they are out with their album debut. And the album gives us 8 tracks of their patented high-energetic, uplifting indie pop. If you've listened to them before you will probably recognize four of the songs from before, but now in new versions and with a new production. Right now they are preparing a big party at Teatern in their hometown Norrtälje where they are [...]
Now it's time again! The energy shooting indie pop phantoms from Norrtälje, Shotgun Crackers , have an EP they would like to share with us, "Visual Randomization". I know that many of you readers have become fascinated by their music, here on Meadowmusic, which makes it an easy decision to continue to serve you these musical titbits. It's just as playful as before but it sounds more "mature". And I mean that in a positive sense, the guys in the band are incredibly musical and play well together. That [...]

What the Lund based band Brainpool left in the 90's and the Gothenburg based band Bad Cash Quartet picked up at the beginning of the 21st century is now taken a step further by Shotgun Crackers from Norrtälje, north of Stockholm! Don't be fooled by the slightly metal sounding name. Shotgun Crackers offers a fantastic mix of great melodies, marvellous vocals (in that extremely cool childish way), accomplished musicians.....and....hand claps.....(there should definitely be more hand claps in songs!!), combined with pop music that, at times, closes in on the Beatles. That's what [...]
