Another Cadence Weapon collaboration, this time with Shuttle , an electronic musician out of Massachusetts from his Tunnel EP coming on Ninja Tune in March. Shuttle also works as a remixer under the moniker Etan and it's fitting that he reworked Daedelus' 'Hrs:Mins:Secs' as this track touches those kind of cornerstones. Shuttle - Rotten Guts feat. Cadence Weapon Daedelus - Hrs: Mins: Seconds (Etan's Greenwich Mean Report) If you like this try: New Cadence Weapon mixtape - [...]
Surprise surprise. Shuttle is the moniker-of-choice for Passion Pit knob-tweaker Etan, whose Washington, DC and Boston-bred eclecticism completely shine through in the genre-less, wide-scoped work he's put out (credits including commissioned work for The DeathSet, Daedalus and The Little Ones) thus far, with an EP titled Tunnel which will be out on Ninja Tune on March 16. Here's a quick track to whet your appetites called "Rotten Guts", which features the vocals of Cadence Weapon . (mp3) Shuttle featuring Cadence Weapon - Rotten Guts Godspeed!

Shuttle , aka Etan, has used his production skills on plenty of remixes, but now that he has signed to Ninja Tune it seems it's time to lay down some original tracks of his own. Teaming up with Cadence Weapon , this east-coast producer is offering up Rotten Guts as the hors d'oeuvre to his upcoming EP Tunnel . Shuttle - Rotten Guts (feat. Cadence Weapon)

Man, Ninja Tune/Big Dada have been killing it lately! That Wiley and Hot Chip track... The Qemists track with Wiley and all those crazy baller remixes they let us post... a Roots Manuva album we've still got in rotation at the station... because of their status as a legendary British label, from here on out I'm gonna post their American artists as well. Welcome to the family Ninjas :) After all these more than blog worthy tracks now they take one of the best artists [...]

Meant to post this mix up a few days back but had trouble downloading and so it slipped through the net. However had a message earlier from Shuttle which reminded me again plus another message just now from Pro letting me know that the Etan track on the Mumdance mix should be credited to Shuttle as he's officially changed his name now after some legal troubles (you still with me?). Still not had a chance to check it but [...]

Shuttle is a name you most likely don't know, however I'm sure you've heard him before as its the new moniker for Boston's very own Etan (most recently of Passion Pit fame, but he's always been one of Basstown's darlings). He comes roaring out of the gate with an eclectic and very well done mix for the masses. Additionally, he'll be putting out a release on Ninja Tune in March with a track featuring Cadence Weapon . I'm sure we'll get the hookup and you, our loyal readers (and haters) [...]

Well, it looks like we have a go for a July 4th launch of Shuttle Discovery. There was some question due to a missing piece of foam insulation issue (not the first time). Apparently it will be monitored during the countdown and will be aborted if ice builds up. Also, NASA is saying due to the weather situation it is 60% go, 40% no go. You can read more about that here . The launch is set to go off at 2:38 pm and I will be watching from my back yard. Definitely [...]

One of the cool things about living on the central Florida east coast is the proximity to Kennedy Space Center. My current location is only about 30 miles south of the Center. I literally can watch the Space Shuttle Discovery launch from my back yard. And believe it or not, I can also feel the shock waves after the launch. Years ago, I would get a pass and watch the launches a lot closer which was really cool. I spent a night one time and watched an early dawn launch that way. The other cool thing in this area is [...]
