For all those karaoke lovers, the SIGUR ROS have teased a new mp3 off their forthcoming LP KVEIKUR, by unleashing a lyric video for ISJAKI . Really gotta catch up with their new shit of the last five years, as that telephone advert they did a few LPs ago really put me off them, sadly.

Icelandic superstars SIGUR RÓS premiere another new song from their upcoming studioalbum Kveikur in the form of Ísjaki. The quick follow-up to last year’s Valtari will be released via XL Recordings on June 17 internationally and one day later in the US. With their new album Kveikur approaching, Sigur Rós has released another single to tide millions of eager fans over, this time in the form of a lyric video. Although certainly still dense, "Ísjaki" is a bit brighter and celebratory than the dark material from the album we've heard so far. The percussion is prominent and thundering, acting as a sort of battle cry throughout the song. For the first time on XL records, Sigur Ross have an album coming out.  Kveikur  follows up 20122s Valtari,  the English for those album names being Primer (according to Google) and Roller. "Ísjaki" means Iceberg in Icelandic, and the single we have for your listening pleasure today. It's expansive but upbeat, ambient pop with pace. The album will be available June 18 via XL.
