December is always a bit of a hectic month. Lots of Christmas shopping, parties, and the like, plus the year end specials, lists, New Year's parties. I bought my Silver Jews ticket approximately three minutes after it went on sale. After twelve years and five albums, this was the band's first-ever tour, a momentous and unexpected event I wasn't about to miss. Even beyond their terrific music, I've always felt a special connection to the Jews. You may remember last week when we were knee deep in the rumors of a potential Neutral Milk Hotel return that Stephen Malkmus was talking to Mark Ibold and saying that they should get back together ( source ).
