SIlverclub originally started out as a project based around the studio experiments of Ducan Edwards Jones, formally an underground techno artist who performed under the name DNCN before pursuing a wider range of genres. Silverclub formed when Jones put down some demos on equipment borrowed from Jim Noir, which resulted in danceable electro-pop tracks fit with upbeat melodies and sharp instrumentals. The band has been compared to the likes of Depeche Mode, LCD Soundsystem, and David Bowie. The "No Application EP" was released in late November of 2011. A full length album is set for early 2012. Silverclub are a new UK Indie-Electro act who’s quirky British synth heavy sound will appeal to many readers of electronic rumors . The band kinda’ take the Passion Pit strain of American Indie-Electro and inject it with a decidedly British humour and synth work more heavily steeped in the history of British SynthPop. A bit like a more raw, more indie, Hot Chip. Check out the lead track on their début EP, ‘All In All’, those pulsating analog sounds act as the prefect counterpoint to down-to-earth vocals. [...]
