There are definite elements of his work with Fleet Foxes here, but it veers in a different direction. The song is instrumentally simple, employing some repetitive drum beats and lightly strummed guitars. The real appeal is the vocals and lyrics. Josh has a soft yet oddly haunting nature to his voice, which is in part due to the lyrics. Arctic Monkeys have released a new standalone single and video for the song "R U Mine?". The track is generally just a fun pop song, but it's actually a memorable and catchy change of pace from the group's last album, Suck It and See . The video is pretty light as well it features prominently front man Alex Turner and drummer Matt Helders goofing around in a car. Simple as it is there is something entertaining about that simplicity. "R U Mine?" is available now on iTunes.
