Sorry for the late posting of this week's Graboid, folks. The king of fighting games returned this week as Street Fighter IV was released on consoles, along with pretty much taking up any kind of free time i've had over the past couple of days. Hopefully, all of you can cut me some slack with the lack of posts this week for the time being. Sitting down earlier tonight to compile the goods from this week of album releases seemed rather daunting, as there are a staggering amount of quality [...]

to hide myself and let you and no one else in Sin Fang Bous - Advent In Ives Garden eMusic calls Sin Fang Bous "Iceland's Sufjan Stevens" which I find to be a bit preposterous because Sufjan's tunes are never this cacophonous and rarely this propulsive. This guy is one to watch in '09. Speaking of 2009 this Friday will feature the latest MixTape from TBE "Look Out '09: Where the music promises to be better than the title." Thats right, my picks of some artists that we [...]

Sin Fang Bous [Myspace] has really snuck up on me over this weekend and they shouldn't have. I am just glad that Sindri Mar Sigfusson of Seabear crafted such a charming record, one that is more focused on the pop than anything else as Sigfusson weaves some inexplicably simple melodies into something significantly more [...] [[ This is a content summary only. Written by Fense Sin Fang Bous is the most promising electro-pop artist I've heard in a very long time - probably since Morr (SFB's label) released the self-titled debut by Electric President. This group hails from Iceland, but you won't hear much of Sigur Ros or Bjork here. It's tailored more to the likes of their label's German headquarters. Their debut album came out last December, but the appearance of their November 7-inch for the song "Advert In Ives Garden" is how they landed [...]

Sin Fang Bous - Catch The Light Solo project spawned from Icelandic indie collective Seabear, Sin Fang Bous offers a garden of melody miniatures and elaborate textures. With the release of the LP, Clangour [ buy ], Iceland's Sindri Mar Sigfusson takes a break from the mellow alt/folk sounds of Seabear to become experimental/weirdo popster Sin Fang Bous . A gorgeous transition. Enjoy. For fans of The Microphones , Animal Collective , The Music Tapes . Advent in the Ives Garden mp3 Catch the Light [...]

I am sitting here listening to Sin Fang Bous debut album "Clangour" ( Morr Music ), and it's one of those precious moments where the music embraces you and you don't want it to stop. It's a wonderful album, - a really interesting album, and it's so fun to listen to. It sounds like Sindri has gone berserk in the studio, and played around with everything he could find, - allowed his ideas to flow freely, - not limited by any boundaries at all. It's experimental, but definitely highly accessible, [...]
