It's always a pleasure to hear a band move to the next level of their artistry. Sleep Thieves' newest EP Islands is a big step up for the band in my estimation. Really enjoyable debut album from Electronic popstars Sleep Thieves. There's much to admire in 'Heart Waves', the debut album by Sleep Thieves . The songs are little catchy indie pop songs which never outstay their welcome. The best track for me is the single from last year 'City Lights' with an intro which actually sounds like city lights twinkling in the night. Dubliner electro three-piece Sleep Thieves debut EP It Was Only A Satellite , released back in 2009, was a tantalising glimpse at what the electronic maestros might have to offer.
