
The good news for the United States - after January 20, George Bush will no longer be President. The bad news - he leaves behind a nation in taters. The prize for whoever wins this Tuesday's election - the right to wrestle with a $11,000,000,000,000 budget deficit , the withdrawal of ground troops out of Iraq, shutting down Guantanamo Bay, all while seriously dealing with energy issues and implementing true immigration reform. Up here in New England, it means that we only have to suffer through one or two more surprise snowstorms before the traditional six weeks of rain segue into a three month long heat wave.
