After Alan Wilder left Depeche Mode in 1995, he's been busy with his own project, Recoil. I remember buying the first Recoil album... it was two vinyl sides of loops and samples that I recognized from Depeche Mode records... I thought it was a treasure because I could hear the sounds that were often buried in the mixes of some of my favorite songs.
