neue töne (490): structures sonores heute vormittag noch etwas entspanntes und eher ruhiges, da wir uns dem jahresausklang nähern. am nachmittag und morgen dann der rest unserer bestenlisten. danach wird 2008 ab- und 2009 aufgeschlossen. vielleicht lassen wir erstere tür auch noch einen spalt offen, damit die winde hindurch pfeifen können. in diesem sinne. structures sonores ist ein kleines label, das von viktor sjöberg ursprünglich gegründet wurde, damit dieser darauf kleine, limitierte releases seiner arbeiten veröffentlichen kann. seine ansprüche bezogen sich dabei wohl auf kuriositäten oder eine art "resteverwertung". vertrieben [...]

The label had originally been planning on releasing a comp of contemporary Swedish music entitled "While we're learning to forget" , but has since decided to sideline that as Auton 's material is said to be far stronger. Neben Postrock, Shoegazer, Dreampop und allen anderen mehr oder minder wertigen Katalogisierereien aktueller Indiemusik dieses Blogs lieben wir auch andere Musik! Echt! Wie schon bemerkt, reihen sich ab und zu Posts über Ambient-orientierten Pop und Electronica hier ein. Hier kommen wir der Sache schon näher. I'm anticipating that I will be totally exhausted and preoccupied on Tuesday morning since my friends from Kayo Dot are staying over while on tour, so I'm writing this on Monday afternoon. They're not Scandinavian, but I still highly recommend that you check 'em out regardless. They make the kind of progressive music that truly transcends boundries.
