SpaceGhostPurrp has an announcement. "I'm a God, I'm no longer a black man," he raps in his new song/video, "The Black God". It's an apocalyptic record, and the video shows various night time city shots as SpaceGhostPurrp dives into his transformation and breaks down the science. This is solid all around. Watch it below.

In the video for single "The Black God," SGP takes us on a monochrome journey of his hometown of Miami. SpaceGhostPurrp is easily one of the best rapper/producers out. This happens to be a great week for the low-budget video, full of immediate grainy cinematography and big cheap ideas and strong visual sensibilities. Raider Klan leader SpaceGhostPurrp is prepping his first release on 4AD, Chronicles of SpaceGhostPurrp , for a June 12 release. "The Black God" is the latest tune we're hearing from the compilation, which will feature tracks both old and new. I'm not sure where "The Black God" fits into Purrp's discography - someone let us know in the comments! - but it's another fine piece of stark-as-fuck hip-hop from the Miami rapper/producer. And it's got some perfectly complementary visuals to boot. Check those out below.
