Bella Union will release the new album from New Zealand songwriter/producer James Milne, aka Lawrence Arabia. The new album, The Sparrow , will arrive July 24th and was influenced by the symphonic late '60s work of Scott Walker and Serge Gainsbourg. Forming in 2009, the Dublin/New York based band Mia Sparrow are a trio of Irish experimental/rockers who recently released their album [mee-uh-spar-o] . This is already the second album for this band, even though they only been playing three years together. The music combines fuzzy guitars, drums, synths, omnichord and samples to create a distorted sound, but it works well. You can listen and download the album below.
