For those of you who slept on You & What Army last November, the good folks at HiPNOTT picked up the rights to drop a physical CD version of the latest Tanya Morgan project, and word from 2DBz is that Von Pea produced three remixes that will serve as bonus cuts on the disc. This is one, and features Spec Boogie hopping on one of my favorite cuts from that project. Pea brings the understated slap on this one, trust.

Tanya Morgan team up with HiPNOTT Records to release the digital only album, You & What Army on physical CD, July 17 2012. Arguably one of their dopest projects to date, the new CD version will include 3 bonus remixes produced by member Von Pea. One of the remixes, "Borrow That" (Boogie's Revenge Mix), originally produced by Astronote serves as the first single, and features fellow emcees Spec Boogie & Jermiside as the Lessondary Crew come correct over Von's Pea stripped down heavy drum banger. Spec Boogie " Pantheon ": Tough drum on this one. Had no idea the Lessondary traveller was sorting out his World Tourist project for 2DBz in August. Meka dropped this earlier , and I'm all about it. Spec's travels seem to have only sharpened his darts, as he seems to weave his BK aesthetic with all of the outernational sights he's taken in. Sounds like he's maturing as well. Loving this one.

Love that Jerm produced the majority of this project (with beats from Von Pea and Mike Jaye thrown in for good measure).
