Brody Dalle , who was previously behind The Distillers and Spinnerette , has reportedly finished her first solo album. Dalle, who was a controversial figure in her previous bands, had been relatively quiet since the release of Spinnerette in 2009, had two children in the intervening years with husband Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age . She revealed the new album via a fairly unambiguous photograph on her Twitter profile.
Brody Dalle (The Distillers/Spinnerette) has revealed on Twitter she is currently working on a new record. Dalle posted the following message: "It's okay guys , i really don't actually care if i'm verified was just having fun........off to the studio , gotta finish my record already"

The sound quality is a bit spotty on this video, so you'll have to turn it up. Poor Brody is recovering from a cold, so she's really squeezing it out. A cool performance nonetheless. Of course, the most entertaining part of the entire video is that CBS blurs the record cover at the beginning of the segment, but doesn't bother at the end. It's just underwear people. Seems pretty daft CBS, especially since you broadcast The Victoria Secret Fashion Show every year.
