This Saturday sees the release of new EP by Cape Town based producer and instrumentalist Shane Cooper aka Card On Spokes. The EP, entitled In You Go , features seven tracks written and produced by Card On Spokes and mixed by Sibot and Dank, two household names in the Cape Bass scene. The remix we did of Spokes for ' Manchester : Remixed ' was largely inspired by the direction we'd taken with our previous remix of Delphic , which we released for free download upon launching the project. Interestingly, we'd checked out their album in full before we decided which track we wanted to remix and had semi-struggled to pick a track to work with in terms of remixing, I suspect, as the band's sound is pretty mellow, and upon listening, our ears were busy absorbing what we were hearing, and not focusing on what track would be best to tackle!
