Springtime is finally upon us. Gone are the tedious, brooding moodswings of winter. The return of sunlight is very much welcome indeed, though it was like a furnace outside a few days ago. My body clock is playing funny tricks on me today. I think it's gotten all confused because of the clocks springing forward. So if it's not bad enough that I carelessly 'lost' an hour somewhere during the night (probably down the side of the bed) , I awoke far too early this morning at half 7. Or should that be half 8. I'm a fan of Suburban Kids With Biblical Names so when reading across various blogs, I stumbled upon It's Not The Band I Hate, It's Their Fans' post which was done back on January 6th. It just went into detail about Springfactory which includes Peter Gunnarson from SKWBN . Springfactory has a new record, their full-length self-titled debut, out on Nebraska's own Series Two Records now. The record is a combination of their first two eps and a couple new songs. Springfactory is a duo consisting of lead singer Lina who is also appeared in the band The Big Picture and Peter from Suburban Kids With Biblical Names. They play a loose style of lofi indie power pop. Which means lots of fast guitar strummings and an incessant beat.
