Stay tuned for this all-new instrumental box set from Damu. "Spur Momento" will feature over 75 new instrumental tracks (almost no horns!) and is likely to cast a long shadow. It took me a while to post this but I think my ears just now stopped ringing. The Broken Spurs rocked the Zanzabar with a great set two Saturdays ago. Frontman Adam Kramer was celebrating his birthday so he was in rare form, which for him, is really saying something! These guys never fail to bring energy, bravado, and huge stadium-worthy guitar licks but this night they seemed bigger any ever, if that's possible for this band. One of my favorite producers, His Majesty Andre, released an EP on Herve's Cheap Thrills Label that featured a host of tracks that have been hyped for a lonnnggg time. The two most notable are Spades and BBQ Sauce. BBQ Sauce is a particularly interesting track.
