Over the Christmas season whilst most of us have either been partying, preparing food or selfishly eating as many chocolates as they can we have had a release unleashed upon us by one of the biggest, fattest and most prominent names in the Breakbeat genre, the @StantonWarriors. 'Shoot Me Down' is released in various guises but not just any. The remixes that are present are created by some of the biggest names in their chosen niche and we have quite an ensemble. The original version of 'Shoot Me Down' [...]

London-based Stanton Warriors (no they are not an LES gang) are techno mavens. Producers and DJs the warriors (Dominic Butler & Mark Yardley) are tearing up nightclubs all over the UK and beyond. Their DJ sets are famed for "incorporating exclusive original tracks mixed with homemade edits / remixes of cutting edge sounds from underground house through to abstract hip hop and everything in between. It's all blended into a melting pot of low down booty electro punkishness ." So the only question remains - are [...]

Hitting Electro, EDM, Techno and back — every week, Amperror (aka electblake ) will bring you the next wave of floor burners. It's not a sundae , it's a massacre. It's the 3rd week since we shed our mortal coil and I hope you dig it. It's late here and I'm pretty zonked after that Suicide Sundae installment [...]

Some old dubstep, some new. First up is the new stuff. Released on Monday, Circus has brought another amazing introducing EP for us. Featuring Boy Kid Cloud, Datsik, B&G and Exponaut; it's full of big producers smashing it at the moment. You can buy it on Beaport now. Next isn't really dubstep but it doesn't have some sick dubstep remixes to it. Stanton Warriors single 'Turn Me Up Some' has been floating around for a while but only just had an official release this month. Shockone's remix is a favourite but the original is hard to [...]

You won't catch the Stanton Warriors slacking on any timely or long awaited call-backs I tell ya that! However, if the only exceptions of death and a natural disaster prevent someone from not replying back swiftly, then I might have to be a little less forgiving. Just thank God that the Stanton Warriors are here to kick away any grievance troubles into touch eventually. A full thumbs up for this one Brothers & Sisters! I downloaded my first Plump DJs track last year after seeing their remix of Deadmau5's hit, "Strobe," in an Ultra Music Festival promo video, and I've been a fan ever since. They've made a big impression in what was the otherwise fading genre of breakbeat. They once again put their signature sound into this remix and I really like how it came out. Buy it here on Beatport

Well, it's that time again. Sasquatch! Music Festival is just around the corner and I'm heading down to cover the event for the third year in a row. I'm looking forward to pretty much everything that comes with the festival while down there, but one can't deny the main reason, and that's for the music. [...]

If you were to ignite a conversation on trend setters and producers that have had an influential impact in the general creative direction of your average producer's work, the most common names that would come to mind are Crookers, The bloody beetroots, switch and tiesto. The producers that would not be "top of mind" so to speak (Eg. you would have heard alot of but not known whos song it was) but intrinsically still have had a large impact would include Stanton Warriors . these guys bring a unique influence to both breaks and hip hop making [...]
