DC Comics just announced Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns: Superman Vs. Batman statue ($300). Sculpted by Derek Miller the statue measures 113 high x 113 wide x 93 deep and will be released on August 29, 2012. Based on the epic battle from The Dark Knight Falls (issue 4), a heavily armored Batman faces off against the Man of Steel. This amazing statue is a timeless addition to any collection!

There's something about youthful defiance I cannot resist. Former frontman of Makeout Party, Carmen Cirignano, has a new project Young Statues that has certainly been gaining some attention. Cirignano happened to lay down a few songs while helping his friend record an album which has evolved into his upcoming release that will be available via Run For Cover Records. The band is led by songwriter/vocalist Carmen Cirignano, and just premiered a new song from their upcoming release called "Pretty Girls Make Raves," which is available for streaming via Alternative Press .
