Was at Cargo in Shoreditch last night and saw heard awesome electro. The DJ trio ending the night were off the wall, throbbing out tune after banging tune for an idyllic couple of hours, interspersed by the occasional hands-in-the-air classic remix (see below). This all happened surrounded by a gorgeous crowd of trendy 20-somethings going mental at a venue that doesn't even charge entry. Brilliant. I stumbled upon this rather cheeky remix of timeless dance track Show Me Love . This classic house tune has been rereleased so many times and received so many remix treatments over the years it's ridiculous! But I reckon this re-edit is the best one to date (apart from maybe the recent Blame one). So, Steve Angello and Laidback Luke's remake of Robin S' original 'Show Me Love' is finally out as of February 2009. I understand the idea of a track or album leaking before release, but it's been almost a year since the bootlegs started appearing for Laidback's original 'Be.' Oh well, just enjoy this extremely cheesy European music video that features woofers, keyboards, flashy visual effects and pretty girls - well, mostly their lips. Seems to be the trend.
