Neil Young "Long May You Run The Illustrated History" (Voyageur Press 2010) Picked up a copy of this last week whilst window shopping on holiday - then a few days later reading Mojo there was a positive review - which is spot on in my opinion, then today I read another article here about it. Recommend it to any casual fan (assuming the fanatics have it anyway) of Neil Young there are some great visuals and as the two reviews attest the writing is excellent too. So after the ditch trilogy, Neil reformed Crazy Horse with the help of new guitarist Frank Sampedro, and released an album that was both more professional and generally a lot more positive. It's probably one of his most fun records, and shows that the new lineup chemistry obviously worked just as well as the old Horse did. Which shows that you can teach an old...horse...new... sorry.
