
Picked up a copy of this last week whilst window shopping on holiday - then a few days later reading Mojo there was a positive review - which is spot on in my opinion, then today I read another article here about it. Got all inspired by two recent entries posted during Live Week on Star Maker Machine . Both (check here and here ) featured mighty fine, never officially released live tracks by Neil Young. So I dragged myself upstairs, started rummaging through my collection of Dinosaur Sr. rarities, and here´s some of the treasure I found. Don't know about the rest of the country, but the last few weeks here in NYC have been riot-inducing hot with some of the most relentless heat and humidity in recent memory. So after the ditch trilogy, Neil reformed Crazy Horse with the help of new guitarist Frank Sampedro, and released an album that was both more professional and generally a lot more positive. It's probably one of his most fun records, and shows that the new lineup chemistry obviously worked just as well as the old Horse did. Which shows that you can teach an old...horse...new... sorry.
