Hi, we are the four piece upbeat indie band Alaskan Faction. We've been together since March of 2012 and we formed while looking for an interesting escape from our monotonous degrees at the University of Nottingham (a various assortment of Physics, Finance and Physiotherapy). London-based trio, Strangers , are getting ready to release their debut single aptly entitled “Something New” via Just Off Pop on May 13th. The single is a collaboration with producer Dimitri Tikivoi (The Horrors, Goldfrapp, Placebo, Little Boots) whilst the B-side, “Never Enough” was produced by drummer Raife Hacking. Strangers are myself (David Maddox jones), Raife Hacking, Piers Sherwood Roberts. We are three completely different characters brought together by a shared love of great songwriting, good blazers and vibes. The bird's beak rat tat tatting against my house woke me up this morning, but I'm getting so used to it I fell back to sleep. When I woke up, I looked out the window, saw the gray skies and decided to lie in bed a while and finish reading the James Patterson novel 12th of Never (Women's Murder Club).
