Chicago musician Mike Golden has linked up with G-Scott and Chuck Inglish for his latest track "Stretch". The sound is a departure from his most recent project Groceries (by his band Mike Golden & Friends), with a bigger emphasis on vocals and a much milder rock sound. However, the product is still dope, with Chuck Inglish providing the level of production we have come to expect from the Cool Kid and G-Scott laying down a nice verse to compliment Mike's vocals. MP3: Hammocks & Honey - Farewell (Fatti Frances Remix) This terrific remix from Melbourne future r&b superstar Fatti Frances replaces the creeping pastoral vibe of this highlight from Hammocks & Honey's Spellbinder EP with some krushing bass and burbling electronic spasms to produce an electro jammer which is totally danceable (well, maybe kind of danceable) but also completely in keeping with the atmosphere that Hammocks & Honey have been so successful at evoking so far. It's dark and melancholic, but enjoyably spacey rather than claustrophobic. You can grab other H&H remixes from [...]

why is there no nudes of rosa acosta in existence? tell me what i am doing wrong?

It's ridiculous that anyone would read the New York Times for music coverage. Still the sad truth is that staff critic Jon Caramanica wields serious influence over the commercial hip-hop landscape, his master narratives weaving mittens for inept writers everywhere to handle trend rappers. So with another Grammy gala toasting mediocrity upon us, I thought it was a fitting time to eviscerate his write-up of last week's Stretch and Bob reunion show . In this latest attempt to canonize the trite likes of Lil Wayne, here Caramanica further proves that, along with MTV's Sway and [...]

Oval 's video for the track "Ah!" just might be one of the creepiest items I have seen in a while. Most music videos seem to get that creep factor from interesting lighting effects and random elements that are thrown into the mix but none of them incorporate the twisted abilitiy of the human body to stretch and contort itself. Enjoy the video below and don't get so bent out of shape! Oval will be releasing a double album titled O through Thrill Jockey on 9/7. [...]

So the winner of Radiohead's aniboom contest for the video to "Weird Fishes / Arpeggi" has a winner! Tobias Stetch! Yay! This is some seriously fucked up, crazy shit. I love it. Stretch won 10 grand for his winning entry. I love how eyes pop out whenever Thom says "Eyes."

All of the songs on the mix tape are incredible, but Cavern and A Man of Many Words are my favorites. The bassline in Liquid Liquid's Cavern (2:40 Mark-Out of control percussion), is sampled by Grandmaster Melle Mel and The Furious Five on their song, White Lines (Don't Don't Do It) .
