A few weeks ago professional skier, BASE jumper and stuntman, Erik Roner , decided to test out Mary Poppins ' floating umbrella trick - by jumping out of a hot air balloon thousands of feet in the air. I only saw the video for the first time tonight, and it's pretty impressive stuff - even if he only uses the umbrella for half of the descent. Check out the footage below:
