last night word came out that the JADE has quit the SUGABABES . this Wednesday AM an official statement has yet to be released. our sources however do tell us that the girls only signed a two-singles-deal with Sony this year and the failure (or success) of these two releases would be the deciding factor if the label were to sign them for an album. to be continued. from the horses mouth : Wow! and before we go we'd like to say that we really feel sorry for the SUGABABES . and their performance of that FREEDOM song(?!) via SAM & MARK's BIG FRIDAY WIND UP. at least the girls manage to smile throughout. it's v important to smile at life's challenges. wotyougot

Life at the moment is hectic for Pearl and the Puppets frontwoman, Katie Sutherland, as her career has seemed to explode in recent months after a change of management. She is currently recording her debut album, and is gigging across the UK to promote it and we at Crack in the Road managed to catch her before her performance in Dundee headlining Abertay University's freshers week. As usual, the Dundee crowd was sub-par (see my other reviews in Dundee, its all the same) which is miles away from the crowds she has performed in front of [...]
