Following on (belatedly) from Eclectic Eavesdroppings Favourite Albums of the year, here are my Favourite Songs of 2011 . Compressing the musical year into a mere twenty-five songs is a tough task for a music junkie like myself. Listing the songs in order of preference is near impossible. It's been a while since any updates came from Sun Airway . I've missed them but that all changed last week. Their newest music video, "Wild Palms," stars only Jon Barthmus (lead singer) touring an empty church. His mystic voice and ghostly motions blend perfectly with this orchestrated song. Satisfaction .
