Radiohead played their 8th stop on The King Of Limbs tour last night to a sold out crowd at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, MO. The setlist featured both 'Supercollider' and 'How To Disappear Completely' making their tour debuts. Overall it was a fairly familiar setlist as to what the band have been playing so far on the tour. Radiohead opened up with 'Bloom' and closed the night up with 'Paranoid Android', and was filled with a TKOL heavy set in between. The band also played new song 'Identikit' which started out with a false [...]
A few months back we caught our first live (whole) live performances of Radiohead 's The King of Limbs on BBC 's From the Basement series, which any Radiohead fan has become familiar with at this point. Well, not all the songs from that performance were released, including "Supercollider," which will be available of the DVD/Blu Ray release. Watch below. Radiohead - Supercollider (Live From the Basement)

In July, Radiohead broadcasted a Live From The Basement session that spanned most of the tracks from this year's The King Of Limbs . Apparently, a couple of songs were left on the editing room floor and will be included on the DVD/Blu Ray release next year; one of those has hit the web, the Record Store Day single " Supercollider ." Check it out after the jump. Read More...

When Radiohead performed on Live From The Basement this past summer fans became quite excited since, at the time, there were no plans for the band to do any touring behind The King Of Limbs . This provided us a first look as to how RH would play an album like TKOL in a live setting. Well now that Live From The Basement will be released digitally on iTunes on December 19th and in early 2012 on DVD and Blu-Ray. The performance features the band playing all eight [...]

As previously reported, Radiohead will release their new concert film, The King of Limbs: Live From the Basement, digitally through iTunes on December 19th, and on DVD and Blu-Ray early next year. The set includes in-studio performances of The King of Limbs ' eight tracks and the unreleased songs "Staircase" and "The Daily Mail", in addition to a previously unreleased performance of the the non-album track "Supercollider". Michelle R. Julian Radiohead performed last night at the Roseland Ballroom in Midtown Manhattan for the second of their two impromptu concerts in New York City. David Kennedy ( Pearson Sound / Ramadanman ), Falty DL and Four Tet opened up for the Oxfordshire outfit. Former Portishead session drummer Clive Deamer rejoined the band on stage - following a string of collaborations, including at the Glastonbury and at Nigel Godrich's From The Basement sessions. It was quite fitting to have Clive Deamer on stage drumming alongside Phil Selway [...]

Tweet Love them or hate (I love them, your mother hates them), one thing Radiohead do very well is the promotion and publicity push of an album release. With their latest album "The King of Limbs" , they announced it outta the blue, much like they did with their last album "In Rainbows" , and the music world went nutso! They had the album launch and brought it forward by a day, they had teasers and public "happenings" , [...]

On these two new Record Store Day tracks to drop from Radiohead, I find myself scratching my head. It's not because these tracks are bad, though. I actually think these tracks are great. I'm just left wondering why the tracks, for me, seemed to surpass a lot of the material on the King of Limbs so easily. These seemed to just be instantly enjoyable. Both develop really well, but let's rely on the audio review below for the details. Are these tracks for you? Find out in this review. [...]

Source: Radiohead The band has released this new single to mark the international celebration of record stores . Enjoy, I know I will.

Radiohead released a limited edition 123 for Record Store Day last Friday. Apparently, there are only 2,000 pressings of the releasing. Both tracks on the 123, "Supercollider" and "The Butcher," are B-sides from the King of Limbs sessions. "Supercollider" hearkens memories of listening to "Analyse," off The Eraser , specifically during the break down . Conversely, "The Butcher" feels better grouped with the In Rainbows sessions. In particular, Jonny's use of the drum machine in the song is reminiscent of the post- From the Basement "Videotape." Take a listen to one [...]

New Radiohead. Hipsters rejoice! Supercollider The Butcher

Tweet Another Record Store Day came and went and I had a wonderful day in sleeping. The whole concept means little to me as I find that Record Store Day should be every day. Not just one particular day in April every year where reissues and throwaway tracks are supposed to be the jolt in the industry we're all waiting for. Never mind the fact that the good stuff always ends up online anyway thus defeating the purpose. Case in point? I present to you two new songs which should [...]

Radiohead released two new tracks on limited pressings for Record Store Day in the UK. Supercollider & The Butcher will be available in the US in June. Until then take a listen to both of 'em below. Radiohead; Supercollider Radiohead; The Butcher

Every year Record Store Day is celebrated at various multiple independent and connoisseur-like minded record shops worldwide. Exclusive vinyl and CD nuggets with a choice of promotional products are made solely for the day with hundreds of artists/fans both participating in those sometimes, once-in-a-moment, special in-store performances and appearances. Radiohead added another string to its bow this past Saturday after releasing a special 12" vinyl for all those selected stores in question, but unfortunately without having the foresight to stick the labels on the right sides properly (making that 12" vinyl record even [...]

As we all know, with subsequent releases Radiohead has been getting more and more into the IDM teritories. Long gone are the day when they release an angst ridden guitar tune. Their latest album Kings of Limbs were either loved or hated by its audience and now that it's been confirmed that there will be no King Of Limbs pt.2 , all Radiohead fans has come to accept the fact that there will be no new Radiohead mayerials in a long while. Fortunately, Radiohead just dropped a single titled Supercollider . Unfortunaly it's only release as [...]
