Filed under: News , Exclusive , New Releases Jay West, WireImage.com The Supersuckers ' lead singer Eddie Spaghetti didn't shy away from some interesting cover versions on his 2003 solo debut, 'The Sauce,' and again in 2005 with 'Old No. 2.' But when the musician got around to his latest album, 'Sundowner,' reworked renditions by the Coasters and AC/DC on the earlier efforts seemed rather ordinary by comparison. Let's [...]

Right off the bat I have to disclose that this review will not be objective. I've been a huge fan of the Supersuckers for two decades and in my eyes they can do no wrong. Keep that in mind as I review Sundowner, the forthcoming album from the band's frontman Eddie Spaghetti. The album, his third solo record, hits stores February 15th. Like his previous solo records, Sundowner is simpler and

Who knew that so many great songs start with the word "Hey" in the title of it. Total excuse for a quickie playlist but here's a few attention getters to fill your brainspace when you're trying to make a point or can't remember the words you were trying to put together - Hey buys you time while you're try figure out what you are going to say. When you feel you've been cheated out of something you deserved. When somebody steps on your toe and you scream "Hey mother F'er!". When somebody cuts you off in traffic and you also [...]
2010 sucked. Why did it suck? Simple, we didn't get any new Supersuckers-related music. That drought ends on February 15th when Sundowner, the third soloo album from Supersuckers frontman Eddie Spaghetti gets unleashed. There are always great originals, and this time around Spaghetti includes covers from Dean Martin, The Dwarves, Del Reeves, and more. Here's the track list for the album:

No two bands are more concavely opposite in their genetic rock-n-roll make-up than Big Black and Supersuckers other than the fact that Steve Albini and Eddie Spaghetti have been prolific in their output and play music on a pretty consistent basis. In a drinking fight Supersuckers would win. In a cussing fight it might be a draw. Not sure about pool but it is a skill that does normally take place in bar, Albini might be a shark, regardless both much respected musicians at this here MP3 Music blog. [...]

This comes in the form of a new digital download of Eddie Spaghetti. The Elvis Show is a live performance from 2001 at the Experience Music Project in Seattle. It sees Eddie covering over a dozen Elvis Presley classics including
