Surface of Eceyon - Open Sea Surface of Eceyon : tangentially related to Landing and Yume Bitsu, sprung from the loins of Adam Forkner probably, so you know what you're getting into: some thick guitarmarmalade. Open Sea fulfills all your shoegaze expectations, but check that bassline, growling. And the heartbeat-beat beat. Upon my original hearing of this song, it felt like listening to the transliteration of someone's free-fall, real or imagined, (maybe Ajax the Lesser style--impaled on sharp rocks by an angry deity?) frightening either way. On hearing this again maybe 8 years [...]

Image courtesy of Strange Attractors This space-y rock group features Adam Forkner of Yume Bitsu and Dick Baldwin, Daron Gardner and Aaron Snow of Landing. Now, a few years later, I have to once again suck it up and learn to love [...]

Sure, I left the apartment at five in the afternoon and didn't return until after 4am, but the hours in between were so utterly unremarkable I feel it could actually damage my reputation if I recounted the details for you. I awoke to my phone ringing at noon. There were television characters making cameos in my dreams this morning. RULES for uninitiated noobs : With 100MB of webspace, I give birth to a weekly Mix Tape to be deposited on your iPods or [...]
