Their 8 year existence has helped unearth some of the most talented producers around and has helped shape the french electronic music scene in the 002s. The Institubes label is dead (and for real this time). News that saddens me. It's the label that introduced me to the so called "blog house", back in 2006. Artists like Surkin , Bobmo and Para One had a platform to release their refreshing sounds. Surkin and Bobmo team up again as High Powered Boys for a brand new EP on the Sound Pellegrino label. "Udon / Work" will be available on EP tomorrow and will feature along side the two orginals two remixes as well. It's clearly a Sound Pellegrino release, not really the typical old school sounds we know from Surkin and Bobmo but it has more of a deep house vibe going on.
