"Ignition" is the latest single from UK producer Swindle, whom you may know as part of the genre defining Butterz Label grime crew. Unlike some of the other releases, this one sounds like it has potential to be a crossover hit with a larger audience. I've featured the fire hazard from the UK, Cherri V before when she joined in on the fun on the 'Female Takeover'-remix of Tinchy Stryder's 'Game Over' late last year. She has also been working with Wiley and Gnars Barkley, done a mad refix of Wretch 32's 'Traktor' and here's the official video for her latest single 'Greedy Eyes'. Sach O thinks there might have been something in his drink. Admittedly, I'm not entirely sure what's going on here. When I think of Swindle's Moodswings, I think of classy drinks in nice bars, fine looking women and a certain air sophistication. This video on the other hand, features an epilepsy warning, a 3 eyed Wonder Woman acid trip and drug imagery more suited to Flying Lotus or the Crystal Castles than East London's answer to Dam Funk. Mind Equals Blown is reporting that Jonny Craig has been scamming fans out of money for the past year or so by personally selling memorabilia (+ macbooks), excepting the funds and never sending the items.
