Angie Martinez premiered the latest track by Swizz Beatz on his Hot 97 show yesterday, and considering it features production from araabMUZIK , and a verse from A$AP Rocky, it really should be more impressive than it is. It's by no means a bad track, it just lacks any spark. The only saving grace is the production, but when has araabMUZIK ever failed to shine? Hopefully his forthcoming new mixtape - which features Rick Ross, Nas, DMX and more - will be a step up from this.

AraabMUZIK may be the name with the producer credit behind "Street Knock", the first taste of Swizz Beatz ' next mixtape Limitless , but it's difficult denying how much the track's sound breathes classic, turn-of-the-century Swizz banger, its repetitive one-finger piano plinks and menacing doomsday atmospherics hearkening back to the days when the Ruff Ryders were the hip hop team to beat. AraabMUZIK is ON FIRE! Swizz Beatz is not a great rapper but with support from AM's producing-out-of-his-mind level beat he sounds at least competent here (if not enjoyable).
