Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, a.k.a TEED, has been slowly revealing more and more of his forthcoming album over the last couple of months, with the massive 'Tapes & Money' single being released with a slew of top notch remixes. Two more tracks from the album are being released as a double A-side, 'Stronger' and 'American Dream Part II'. Both are great examples of what to expect on the album 'Trouble', being released in June. Stay tuned for our full review coming soon! Im so glad that someone at the majors has given the nod on this remix from Casino Times for TEED... (although it may have come straight from the dinosaur aficionado?) Anyways... I'm a big fan of the Casino Times duo and have loved their low slung bass and garage tinged re-imaginings of old classics. Plus their forthcoming remix on Wolf Music of Greymatter's Give It To Me Slow is an absolute BOMB. Keep an eye on these guys as by the sounds of things they are going to be massive.
Last year's Berlin Music Festival was one of the best city festival experiences I've had and this year, the initial lineup looks like the kind of deal that may sway people away from Electric Picnic which happens a week before. It all takes place in the old Tempelhof airport in the city on 7th and 8th of September before night-time events see the festival move to warehouses and clubs. I feel like I've been beating you guys over the head with every new release he puts out but it's for good reason. He' a strong songwriter, often singing on his own tracks with catchy melodies backed by juicy analog basslines and intricate midrange synthwork.
