With SXSW just winding down and the hometown folk all but headed home, we're ready for more concerts and a new festival in Boise Idaho. Walla Walla, Washington is known for its onions and wines, not so much for all girl punk bands. Come to think of it I don't know of any all boy punk bands from there either. I tried to wrap my cat in a tortilla for an accompanying picture to this post but that didn't happen. Something about being wrapped up brings out the claws in those wiley bastards. A couple of years back, we stumbled across something called A Reference Of Female-Fronted Punk Rock — a wonderful, exhaustive compilation of old school female-fronted punk bands from 1979-1989.
