It's been a couple minutes since we last checked in on Tahiti Boy and the Palmtree family . The Family returns with "Brooklyn", a new EP which paves the way for a full length release set for 2010. The four tracks continue the 60's pop sound that the band has kinda become known for. "Andy's Suite" is a melancholy tale that all us music lovers can probably relate to on some level. According to their MySpace page, Tahiti Boy & The Palm Tree Family sound like "Vampire Weekend sleeping with Michel Legrand". That's one long title. Tahiti Boy & The Palmtree Family are a Parisian indie pop group possessing 60's and 70's folk-pop-rock charm. They have many cool friends, one being Xavier De Rosnay ( Justice ) that happily decided to work with Tahiti Boy & The Palmtree Family by reworking one of their tunes. Para One refait parler de lui en ce moment... Et c'est tant mieux. S'loignant un peu des sonorits "ordinateuresques" et des machines en tous genres, il semble irrsistiblement attir par la pop...
